Listing on amazon.co.uk

The Company was looking into exploring a new emerging distribution channel via amazon. To achieve listing of the products on the platform I opened vendor account with amazon, created the catalogue, defined inventory planning and pricing.

Closely worked with procurement, customer service.

Results: speedy launch of DIY type products like fast set mortar to the market, enabling a quick collection of valuable feedback from the users. Gathered data presented to the major trade stores in the country to assure listing to the regular on-shelf range.

Launch Poweredge wipers

The objective was to introduce a second brand more price competitive range of wiper blades. I’ve conducted research on potential suppliers, evaluated the suppliers commercially and on quality. Conducted 4 competitors product range analysis to define the list of SKUs. Defended the business case with senior stakeholders. Launched the product with supporting collateral marketing materials.

Closely worked with the sales, marketing and quality teams.

Results: the biggest market segment of mid-range priced products is addressed by the Company without jeopardy to the main premium brand DENSO. Incremented sales generated and an additional market share gained.

Hyundai telematics

Lead the commercial investigation to introduce “black box” installation for the insurance discount for Hyundai owners. My tasks included preparation of technical information for the accelerometer and the recording devise in line with safety and quality regulations, indetification price scheme for the equipment and related impact on the insurance, business simulation.

Description

The owner of the vehicle agrees to install a “black box” equipment into the vehicle. The equipment contains an accelerometer and a transmitter, recording abnormal acceleration, stop, side motions that represent a dangerous driving style. As the result of the evaluation of such recordings the owner of the vehicle may receive a discount/fee on the insurance premium, depending on their driving habits.

Worked in cooperation with Hyundai Finance, Rosgosstrakh (major insurance company), manufacturer of the hardware and software analysing the driver’s behavior.
